Preservation Resource Library

For more than 25 years, the Elkins Historic Landmarks Commission has managed projects and worked with community organizations to preserve and promote historic Elkins. In 2011, the commission created the Preservation Resource Library housed at the historic Darden House to connect the community with literature and materials concerning historic preservation and restoration.
The library is open to the public on Wednesdays from noon to 5 p.m., or by appointment, and has been a catalyst for other preservation projects.
